pointseven CAMPAIGN

Dave Dobbyn at CID

pointseven website

New Zealand has committed to a United Nations target that all developed countries should give 0.7% of their Gross National Income (GNI) in aid to developing countries. Five countries are currently exceeding the 0.7% target and New Zealand is one of only six countries that have not set a timetable for reaching 0.7% by 2015.

CID calls on the government to commit to a timetable for achieving the target of spending 0.7% of GNI on overseas aid and development by 2015.
