CID facilitates the Non Government Disaster Relief Forum (NDRF) an open forum for New Zealand based NGOs that have an interest and involvement in international humanitarian response and emergency management issues.

The NDRF has developed a publication to let you know how the world responds to major disasters and what you can do to save lives and assist people under threat in an emergency.

Humanitarian Action Fund (HAF)

The Humanitarian Action Fund (HAF) is a funding scheme designed to support the international humanitarian work of New Zealand non-government organisations (NGOs).

The primary purpose of HAF is to help save lives, alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity during and in the aftermath of emergencies, through New Zealand NGO-supported humanitarian action projects.
