CID’s 30th anniversary AGM will be held in Wellington on Monday, 12 October, 9am – 4.30pm followed by the CID members’ dinner that evening.

Sir Jim McLay KNZM QSO, Former NZ Ambassador to the UN.

SDGs: Will they make the difference?

Sir Jim McLay is a NZ diplomat and former politician. His past roles include: Deputy Prime Minister, leader of the National Party, Leader of the Opposition, NZ representative on the International Whaling Commission and NZ’s Permanent Representative to the UN. He returned to NZ in May this year to become NZ’s representative to the Palestinian Authority.

Social entrepreneurs and NGOs: What’s the fit?

Vivien has been Executive Director of UNICEF, since July 2014. Her former positions include CEO roles in the community, disability support and health sectors. These include; CEO of CCS Disability Action, the founder of the social enterprise Lifemark and the current Chair of Loomio Cooperative Board, an open-source web application.
