About Jan Monsbakken

Jan Monsbakken, the President of Rehabilitation International (RI) is in New Zealand In April 2014 to participate in two one day seminars being hosted by the Disabled Persons Assembly.

Jan is a Norwegian Citizen with a long and distinguished career of service to the International disability community.

He became President of Rehabilitation International in 2012. Before that he served on a range of organisations including service as a Board Member of the European Disability Forum from 1998 to 2005, Treasurer of the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations from 1997 to 2007, and Deputy Vice President and President Elect of Rehabilitation Global before becoming President. He has also been actively involved in many international research projects in Disability and Psoriasis.
