Professor Crawford Falconer: Trade Policy in the Trump Era

This event will follow the Annual General Meeting of the Wellington Branch of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs. Refreshments will be provided following the address.

Crawford is the Sir Graham Harrison Professor of Global Value Chains and Trade at Lincoln University. He has spent the last thirty years working on international trade issues inside and outside government. This included a term as New Zealand Ambassador and chief trade negotiator at the WTO in Geneva, and several years at the OECD. He has been independent chair of a number of international trade negotiating bodies, such as the WTO Agriculture Committee, and independent judge on many independent trade dispute panels.
