



The Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness was held in Busan, South Korea from 29 November to 1 December 2011. The 2,000 attendees reviewed global progress in improving the impact and value for money of development aid.
They also made commitments to further ensure that aid helps reduce poverty and supports progress in meeting the Millennium Development Goals.
CID's Director, Dr Wren Green attended as part of the New Zealand delegation.
Working Party on Aid Effectiveness with a new face
The first meeting of the Post-Busan Interim Group (PBIG) took place last week at the OECD in Paris. The PBIG is the temporary consultation and consensus-building body convened by the Working Party on Aid Effectiveness to reach an agreement on the structure on Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation by June 2012.
