VSA exhibition 'Windows to another world' moves to Auckland
Windows to another world explores the diverse cultures of the Pacific, Africa and Asia through 50 remarkable amateur photographs taken by VSA volunteers and staff over 50 years of volunteering abroad. After a successful exhibition in Wellington the exhibition has shifted to Auckand and VSA encourages members of the public to come along and help VSA celebrate 50 years of volunteering by viewing the exhibition. The public are also encouraged to vote for thier favourite photo and go in the draw to win a limited edition print created especially for VSA by Samoan New Zealand artist Fatu Feu’u worth over $1,000. The winner of this beautiful limited print will be notified by 1 August 2012.
The event is Koha entry and will be running 9am-5pm weekdays and 10am-4.30pm weekends in the Australis Room, Britomart, 36 Customs Street East up until Sunday 24 June.
