CID 2008 Major Event: Power and Development Hui

On March 10 - 13 CID, with the generous support of NZAID, was lucky to bring Valerie Millar and Peggy Healy to New Zealand for an in-depth exploration of power in development. A challenging topic, and a challenging event, which saw 50 participants from a variety of CID members and partners engage in sessions that broadened our understanding of power.

Notes from this meeting have now been compiled and are free to download below. The notes capture the major inputs from participants during discussion, as well as outline guides to the tools used in the session. Finally, the notes have five fascinating interviews where participants discuss their own views on power, be it individual power, power within organisations, or power in society.

Feel free to download and copy the notes and contact Lee Sentes with any queries.
