VSA: Funding Strategy Advisor (Fiji)

Posted on 18 November 2019

The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a locally owned, globally connected civil society movement working to ensure people are free to make choices about their sexuality and well-being, in a world without discrimination.

In this assignment you will play a crucial role in building the long term financial sustainability of IPPF’s Member Associations (MAs) in 9 Pacific Island countries.  MAs are the family planning clinics in Pacific countries.  You will assist MAs to explore funding opportunities, support staff in developing and implementing financial sustainability strategies and strengthen their capacity to expand their resource base and diversify their resource streams.

This is a great opportunity to be part of an organisation that is committed to providing services, and champions sexual and reproductive health and rights for all, especially the under-served.

VSA is looking for a volunteer with:

  • Relevant experience working in grants, and fundraising, preferably for commercial organisations or not for profits
  • Proposal development and donor reporting at national or regional levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, concise way
