International Needs New Zealand is looking for a qualified accounts officer who is able to work within a team environment to help process its daily accounting and financial functions. You will be part of a team that helps its partners in other nations, to impact lives in over 30 countries around the world with the love that is shown through our faith in Jesus Christ.
Having prior accounts experience is a necessity to fulfil this role, along with a passion to serve not only the supporters of International Needs but also of the partners we support overseas.
International Needs is a Christian organisation that aims to fulfil the commission of Jesus Christ, by supporting overseas partners. We are seeking an individual who has a fervent desire to serve and help to make a difference. You will have the skills and abilities that are needed to undertake the functions within the finance department, whilst supported by a part-time accounts assistant, you will oversee the daily functions of International Needs accounting and finance systems.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with client management systems like Raiser's Edge and financial accounting software Xero. You will also have experience in processing data to keep accurate financial records of International Needs donors. Not only will you need to ensure the accuracy of donations to the INNZ system, but you will also need to ensure monthly accounts are paid to INNZ stakeholders, and undertake the collation and accuracy of our monthly international transfers, ensuring these are made seamlessly.
You will be required to hold relationships with your overseas counterparts and be part of a worldwide culture and environment that aims to see transformation in the lives of those in need.
