Speaker Event Featuring Volunteer Services Abroad's Chair - Evan Mayson

16 May 5:30pm - 8:30pm
VSA, Level 2, 77 Thorndon Quay, Wellington

Volunteer Service Abroad are flying down their Chair Evan Mayson to speak about his extensive experiences in the Pacific and beyond as a humanitarian engineer. The talk will be preceded by a short film on the challenges of ocean level rise and climate change.

Evan has worked as a volunteer, aid adviser, project manager and consultant in Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Kenya, and Nepal. He is currently a project director with GHD, an engineering and environmental consultancy company.

There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion with Evan and fellow peers regarding climate change and development in the Pacific context.

This is also a good opportunity to meet the staff and learn about the work of Engineers Without Borders and Volunteer Service Abroad.
