Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Ships Aotearoa is appealing to the New Zealand public to provide support in repairing their stranded medical ship. An issue with the ship’s tailshaft has left it stranded in Lautoka, Fiji, and it needs urgent dry docking and repairing.
YWAM Ships, a full CID Member, provides medical aid to isolated communities in the Pacific, and in just two years have served over 5000 people in Fiji, providing vital healthcare services. YWAM Aotearoa need the public’s help in raising $200,000 to pay the shortfall needed by the end of November, with their partner Trinity Lands generously matching every donation up to $100,000 until November 28.
