Civil society groups are currently working to shape the Civil society Feedback for Call for Action for the Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on DRR coming up in Brisbane in September, as well as working to create an Indigenous / Local Resilience Practice Sharing session at the conference itself. They are particularly keen to engage with Pacific organisations. Further information on the processes is available here.
It would be great if you could share with your networks – the deadline for feedback is 31 August.
ADRRN is also happy to hold a virtual session with any organisations in the Pacific to provide more information or to get feedback on the call for action. If you know any organisation that might be keen to engage this way, or if you need further information, please let Aaron know.
