Young people aged between 15 and 24 make up 16% of the global population. Yet, their lack of trust in traditional institutions and the absence of inclusive and safe platforms heightens the risk that they will use anarchic methods to bring about change. Societies must create the platforms and pathways that give youth a voice and a chance to have a real stake in shaping the policies that will impact their future.
