A number of suspected cases of monkepox are under investigation in Fiji. Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong, says the Ministry is continuing to screen persons of interest and investigating cases that demonstrate symptoms.
He says they are also in discussion with development partners to see if Fiji can preposition itself to access monkeypox vaccines and medication.
