What has Innovation got to do with International Development?

In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, we are experiencing greater volatility, uncertainty, change and ambiguity. Countries around the world are grappling with challenges
of dealing with rapid changes at a macro-level, as well as involving citizens in developing solutions at the grassroot level. Innovation can provide the mindset, framework and tools to address some of the challenges in the International Development context.

At this workshop, we will talk about some case studies where innovation methodologies have been applied to address international development challenges. We will learn some of the frameworks and tools of innovation by practicing to apply them to international development scenarios.

The presenters and facilitators for this workshop are Dr. Colin Kennedy and Nedra Fu from Creative HQ. Creative HQ is New Zealand's leading provider of structured innovation programmes for startups, corporates and government.
