CID has been advocating primarily for cash donations in the Pacific with recent disasters, we are now seeing the message being repeated in Europe with the crisis in Ukraine. There are difficulties in Ukraine around transportation (lack of truck drivers), distribution (running out of warehouse space and not enough people to sort donated goods), and unused/unwanted items (media coverage of donations piling up in other countries).
